Junior Ranger Program

Become a Junior Ranger!

Ranger Heather will guide you through the park and help you complete fun activities from the Texas State Park Junior Ranger Activity Journal.  Some of the things you will learn:

• How to stay safe in wild places
• Leave No Trace!
• The wildlife within the park
• The history of the park
• What it's like to be a park ranger

This program is for the young and young at heart.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Meet at the Pavilion.

Bring water and wear closed-toe shoes.

Event is free with paid park entrance or Texas State Park Pass.  Entry is FREE for children 12 years and younger; 13 and older is $3.00 per person.
