Reading with the Ranger

Find out how and what cowboys ate while they were on the trail. Ranger Heather will be reading Come 'N Git It! Cookie and His Cowboy Chuck Wagon by Jennifer Coleman.

After the story we will enjoy some "spotted pup" dessert in the dutch oven.

Meet at the Gazebo. Wear clothing appropriate for the weather.  Optional-bring a bowl, spoon and a drink.

Please call the park office to reserve your spot.  Event is free with paid park entrance or Texas State Park Pass.  Entry is FREE for children 12 years and younger; 13 and older is $3.00 per person.
