Texas State Parks 100-Year Celebration!

🎉 Texas State Parks is celebrating 100 years! Celebrate this milestone and the future at Fort Boggy State Park.

Join us as we celebrate Texas State Parks.  We will be opening every area of the park up to our visitors.  This is an evening event so don't forget your flashlight.

• The Pavilion - will be  your starting point to learn about the history of the park and to pick up your goodie bag.
• The Lake Front - a telescope will be set up to the see the moon and stars.
• Cabin 5 - will be open to visitors to tour.  Bring your cup for complimentary coffee or hot cocoa.
• Primitive Campsite 1 - will have light art painting with Ranger John Herron from Huntsville SP.

This is one of many 100-year celebration events happening in Texas State Park this year.

Entry to the park for this event is free.  Guarantee entry by reserving your free day pass up to one month before the event.  Does not apply to overnight stays.
