January's full moon is called the Wolf moon. Hear the story and view the full moon through a telescope.
We will have a telescope set up to view the full moon. Bring a chair and/or blanket to comfortably enjoy the night sky. Feel free to bring binoculars and/or your own telescope.
Meet at Lake Sullivan near the fishing pier. Wear clothing appropriate for the weather. Bring a flashlight (with a red filter or red cellophane).
Cost/How to Register: Program is free with paid park entrance or Texas State Park Pass . Purchasing your entrance pass online is recommended. Entry is FREE for children 12 years and younger; 13 and older is $3 per person.
