Where bleeding was a cure all, surgeries happened without anesthesia, and your local doctor might have learned more from a barber than a textbook.
In this interactive program, visitors will learn the frightening facts of frontier era medicine, surgery, disease, and the strange tools once used in the name of healing.
This program is geared towards adults 17+, there will be some gruesome details youngsters might not want to know.

Cost: Attendance to this event is open to the public and free AFTER regular day use or camping fees. Park admission is free with a Texas State Park Pass (purchased before event)
