Follow in the footsteps of great naturalists, scientists, and artist who have shared their observations, insights, and wonderment through the pages of journals.

The arroyos and hills of the Franklin Mountains are full of hidden wonders just waiting to inspire your creative powers! Why not take the lead of great naturalists, scientists, and artists (DaVinci, John Muir, and Charles Darwin for example) and pour that inspiration into a journal.

We will begin at the Visitor Center.

Fee: $5.00 per adult 13 years of age and older, $0.00 for Texas State Park Pass holders and children 12 and under.

Bring: water, snacks, and a journal with art supplies (optional)
