Join citizen scientists from across the world that are experts at identification to help document migrating birds, butterflies, and more! We recommend downloading the following apps before the program:
- iNaturalist A Community for Naturalists · iNaturalist
- Merlin Merlin Bird ID – Free, instant bird identification help and guide for thousands of birds – Identify the birds you see (allaboutbirds.org)
All ages are welcome. Easy, relaxing hike (0.75 miles packed earth trail) with no shade. Bug spray is a must!
- Bring: Smart phone with internet, sunscreen, bug spray, water, weather appropriate clothing and close toed shoes.
- Meet: Observation Tower Parking Lot
- Cost: Entry fee is $5 for adults and FREE for children 12 & under. Park entry free with a State Parks Pass.
