Join a park ranger for an evening under the stars at Galveston Island State Park!

This informal, guided stargazing experience is perfect for those curious about the night sky. Whether you're a first-time stargazer or an experienced sky watcher, our ranger will share fascinating stories, tips for identifying constellations, and insights into the celestial wonders above. Bring your curiosity, your questions, and a blanket or chair to relax as we explore the cosmos together. No equipment or prior knowledge required—just come ready to enjoy a peaceful evening of stargazing and conversation.

• Bring: Weather appropriate clothing, blanket and chair.
• Meet: Nature Center Parking Lot
• Cost: Entry fee is $5 for adults and FREE for children 12 & under. Park entry free with a State Parks Pass.
