Super Moon Walk - Date Change to Dec 15

Live by the sun, love by the moon.

Ranger Regina will take you on a short program and help you discover the mysteries of la luna, or the moon, while we explore the night life of Galveston Island State Park!

The night time is the right time to explore... As we say at headquarters, "Half the park is after dark!"  

What to Expect:

• Bring: BUG SPRAY, water, weather appropriate clothing, blanket or towel for the chill, smart phone for an optional star app download, and red flashlight or headlamp.
• Meet: Observation Tower Parking Lot
• Cost: Entry fee is $5 for adults and FREE for children 12 & under. Park entry free with a State Parks Pass.
• Ranger led program
• Easy, relaxing walk (0.25 miles) on pavement, boardwalks, and packed sand
