Join us for a serene evening paddle under the stars and moonlight as we celebrate NASA’s Observe the Moon Night! Registration required!
Paddle beneath the twilight sky and rising moon on this peaceful guided kayak trip through the waters of Galveston Island State Park. As part of NASA’s international Observe the Moon Night, this event offers a unique blend of outdoor adventure and lunar appreciation.
We'll be off the water by 8:30 PM, then continue the evening with open moon gazing through a telescope until 9:00 PM. Learn about the moon’s features, its connection to tides and wildlife, and get a chance to view it up close.
Spots are limited—registration is required!
Need to Know:
- Ages 13+ only
- Max 4 people per reservation
- Close-toed shoes required
- Expect to get a wet and salty—dress accordingly!
What to Bring:
