Partial Eclipse Party

Experience this amazing celestial event island style!

You are invited to our Partial Eclipse Viewing Party! During this incredible, natural phenomenon, join us in celebrating the largest star in the sky!

Activities include using sun filters and glasses to see the partial eclipse, eclipse shadow displays, and more! Drop in anytime from 12:00 pm-2:30 pm.

Partial Eclipse starts ~12:30 pm
Total Eclipse (90% at Galveston Island SP) ~1:30 pm
Eclipse Ends ~ 2:30 pm

• Bring: Sunscreen, bug spray, water bottle, weather appropriate clothing, and shoes.
• Meet: Beachside day use area - paved sidewalks and open grassy areas
• Cost: Entry fee is $5 for adults and FREE for children 12 & under. Park entry free with a State Parks Pass
