Join us in celebrating World Sea Turtle Day with activities, crafts, and more!
You are invited to our Sea Turtle Celebration hosted by the Friends of Galveston Island State Park.
They have chosen to honor World Sea Turtle Day by hosting a special event just for these magnificent, beautiful creatures and want you to come along!
Activities include crafting your own sea turtle; special programs about sea turtles and sargassum; tiny turtle obstacles, and more!
- Bring: Sunscreen, bug spray, water bottle, weather appropriate clothing, and shoes.
- Meet: Beachside day use area - paved sidewalks and open grassy areas
- Cost: Entry fee is $5 for adults and FREE for children 12 & under. Park entry free with a State Parks Pass
