Join Park Host Ken at beautiful Horseshoe Pond for a relaxed, hands-on session where you’ll learn simple, effective fishing techniques that help turn patience into payoff. We’ll cover key skills like baiting, casting, and reading the water — all in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment.
📍 Meet at: Horseshoe Pond (Point of Interest #2 on the trail map)
💲 Cost: $5 for adults, FREE for kids 12 & under
Park entry is included with a valid Texas State Parks Pass
🎒 What to Bring:
Sunscreen, bug spray, water bottle, weather-appropriate clothing, and close-toed shoes.
