It's winter on the island and a great time to learn about our feathery winter residents. Join us on an exploration to learn basics of birding, identify resident species, and hopefully catch sight of some uncommon birds. All ages are welcome!
What to Expect:
- Bring: BUG SPRAY, water, weather appropriate clothing and close-toed shoes that can get wet.
- Meet: Observation Tower Parking Lot
- Cost: Entry fee is $5 for adults and FREE for children 12 & under. Park entry free with a State Parks Pass.
- Ranger led program
- Easy, relaxing hike (0.75 miles) with no shade
- Wildlife and plants
- Birds!
