Old Baldy Midnight Hike: Come toast the New Year from the top of Old Baldy. Park staff will lead a hike up the Old Baldy Trail. We will meet just before midnight, hike, sit by a campfire, drink some sparkling cider, and hike down in 2024.
Where to meet: at the Old Baldy trailhead at 10 pm.
What to bring: Water, snacks, hiking shoes, flashlight/headlamp/glow sticks
Who should come: All are welcome! Last year small children, elderly folks and some dogs attended. This is considered a challenging hike that rises about 400 feet in the distance of a half mile one way. Please understand your hiking capabilities before you decide to participate in this hike. Dogs must remain on a 6-foot leash.
