Solar Eclipse Viewing Area

Come view the solar eclipse in a relaxed environment. We will have viewing options available with Park Rangers and volunteers to help with viewing equipment and answer questions. The park will have telescopes, binoculars, sun spotters, and other viewing options. The San Antonio Astronomical Association will be here providing telescopes for viewing.

The viewing area will be at the Cowboy Theater. Bring your lawn chairs, water, snacks, and be prepared to walk. There is no parking directly at the theater; it is only a short walk from most camp sites. There will be parking available behind the Visitor Center in the access vehicle parking lot.
