What will we see in the bay today?
Learn basic kayak safety and paddling techniques before joining a park ranger or volunteer for a paddle in St. Charles Bay. Must be at least 15 years old to participate. All equipment provided. This program is best if you have some kayaking experience.
Registration required at least 48 hours in advance. Sign up today!
A confirmation email with more information on how to prepare will be sent to registered participants before the program (please allow up to 48 hours to receive the email).

Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the program.

Program is free with park entrance ($5/person, children 12 & under are free) or Texas State Parks Annual Pass.
- Reserving your day pass in advance is strongly encouraged and can be done at TexasStateParks.ReserveAmerica.com. Use self-pay station when office is closed.

Program may be cancelled if no participants are present within 10 minutes of the start time, or in the case of inclement weather.
