Whooper Walk at Big Tree

Due to popular demand, Goose Island is adding on more Whooper Walks!
Learn more about the last wild population of Whooping Cranes from Ranger Sara. You'll walk from the Big Tree parking lot down 12th St for what could possibly be the best look at Whooping Cranes in the wild!
Where to meet: Big Tree parking lot on 12th St.
When: 10:00am
What to bring: Binoculars if you have them, sun protection, water, bug spray, and appropriate clothing (it can get windy by the water). A spotting scope is provided for a closer look at the cranes.
Cost: FREE
Accessibility: Accessible parking at Big Tree. The road is relatively flat, however there is no sidewalk. For more details on accessibility, contact Sara Rock.
