Join a ranger from 3-4pm at the CCC Recreation Hall to learn about different types of solar eclipses.
Texas will experience two different solar eclipses within the next year, an annular eclipse on Oct. 14, 2023, and a total eclipse on April 8, 2024. Come learn about what makes these types of eclipses different.
FYI:
- Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.
- Program is free with park entrance ($5/person, children 12 & under are free) or Texas State Parks Annual Pass.
- Program may be cancelled if no participants are present within 10 minutes of the start time, or in the case of inclement weather.
