Join us in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month!
Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated every year from September 15 - October 15. It promotes the history, culture, and contributions of Hispanic-Americans - specifically those whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.
Texas has a long and rich history of Hispanic influence. From Spanish exploration to ranching, the Hispanic-American community has left a lasting mark on Texas.
Join us for a day full of fun activities and demonstrations for the entire family! We're excited to welcome living history volunteers who will be conducting weapons demonstrations at 11am and 2pm. Other activities include cattle roping, dutch oven cooking, Spanish Exploration stories, and more to come!
Where: All activities will be held at our Day Use Picnic Area.
When: 10:00am-3:30pm. Weapons demonstrations will be held at 11:00am and 2:00pm.
Cost: Free! Park entrance fees will be waived for this special event.
