Explore Bowhunting Workshop (moved to JANUARY 10)
Sat, January 10, 2026
Join us for a hands-on workshop that will get you ready to go out and harvest your first deer with a bow.
We'll answer questions about how to use camouflage, what to do with your deer after harvest, and more. An archery range will be set up to practice using a bow. Everyone is welcome at this event, and all equipment is provided.
Activities will be from 10am-12pm. At 1pm, we will close the archery range and other activities to start harvesting a donated white-tailed deer.
Registration is not required; however, all visitors will need to sign a waiver upon arrival. Entrance fees will be waived for this event. When you arrive at headquarters, inform the ranger checking you in that you are attending the workshop.
