Family Volunteer Day at Goose Island State Park

Join us for Texas State Parks' first Family Volunteer Day on April 26th!

Come and experience Goose Island State Park with your family! Texas State Parks wants to invite you to a day of fun and volunteer service. Join our park team to help with a variety of family-friendly and kid-friendly volunteer activities.

Who: All ages are welcome! We encourage families with kids to join in the activities. All youth 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Possible Volunteer Activities:
- Trail Maintenance
- Invasive species removal (guinea grass)
- Litter pickup
- Paint projects

Registration: Registration is not required but recommended. Click here to register.
When: This is a one-time event that will be held on Saturday, April 26th.
Where: Goose Island State Park, exact location TBD!

The morning will be filled with volunteer service activities. The afternoon will be free time to explore the park. More details to come, but save the date!
