Using smartphones, we'll discover the world around us!

Have you ever taken a walk outside and wondered what that pretty flower you saw was? Or maybe the insect pollinating that flower? How about a mushroom growing on the side of that log? Did you know that you can find the answers to your questions in real time?

iNaturalist helps you identify the plants and animals around you while generating data for science and conservation. Get connected with a community of millions scientists and naturalists who can help you learn more about nature! What’s more, by recording and sharing your observations, you’ll create research-quality data for scientists working to better understand and protect nature.

We'll walk you through how to use the phone application with hands-on activities!
