It's National Moth Week! Join us in discovering the nocturnal pollinators of Goose Island.

Be a "moth-er" for a night, and help us discover what moths visit Goose Island. We'll use  various lights to attract all kinds of moths and nocturnal insects into our view.

Learn about different species of moths and how they differ from butterflies. Understand how light affects the natural world and what you can do to help wildlife wherever you go.

Bring: Bug spray, a flashlight or headlamp, hydration. Long sleeves and pants are recommended to help with mosquitos.
Where: Youth Group Area
When: Introductions will start at 8:30pm, and we'll have equipment setup until 11:00pm. Stop by anytime!
Accessibility: Paved parking is available at the Youth Group Area, and Warbler Way restrooms nearby. For questions on accessibility, email sara.rock@tpwd.texas.gov.
Note for Day Use visitors: Headquarters closes at 4:30pm. Arrive to the park early enough to fill out the self-pay permit.
