Whooping Crane Couples Walk

Did you know that Whooping Crane pairs are bonded for life?

Bring a loved one and join a ranger on a walk down 12th St. to learn more about the amazing life of this endangered bird.

Where to meet: Big Tree parking lot

Bring: binoculars, camera (optional), and dress for the weather

Length of walk: about 1 mile on relatively flat pavement

FYI:

• Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the program.
• Program is free with park entrance ($5/person, children 12 & under are free) or Texas State Parks Annual Pass.
• The program may be canceled if no participants are present within 10 minutes of the start time, or in the case of inclement weather.
• For groups larger than eight, please contact Ranger Sara for a private event.
