New Year's Eve Honey Creek Nature Hike *Registration Required*
Say goodbye to 2025 and ring in the new year while on a hike with us!
Close out 2025 and welcome 2026 with a rare guided night hike to the stunning Honey Creek. This special event, sponsored by the Friends of Guadalupe River State Park/Honey Creek State Natural Area, offers a one-of-a-kind way to celebrate the New Year outdoors.
We’ll journey along a 2.5-mile trail—mostly flat, but with a few rocky sections, gentle slopes, and one short, steep climb that will get your heart pumping. The reward? Breathtaking scenery, a night sky full of stars, and the magic of Honey Creek after dark.
After the hike, we’ll gather back at the historic Rust House just in time to ring in 2026 with a cheerful toast of sparkling apple cider.
Registration is required for this event and will become available on December 1, 2025 at 8am. Register here.
