Kick off the new year with Boots on the trail.
Join our volunteers for a First Day Hike on the popular Chinquapin Trail. This trail is 6.8 miles and takes you for a scenic view around Lake Raven. Walk amongst the Evergreens and hardwood trees. Walk along the historic dam built by the CCC. The group will meet up and leave from the Nature Center.
This is one of our challenging trails because of its length. Please bring water and wear weather/trail appropriate gear. Bathrooms are at the Nature Center.
