Explore the park after dark and how adaptations change the way we observe it.
As the sun sets a new environment falls on Huntsville. New wildlife comes out and an opportunity to see the park in a different light. Learn how they and we have adapted to explore at night. And build confidence to explore more parks after dark.
Meet in the Day Use parking area across the street from our maintenance yard. We will be hiking 1.25 miles on the Dogwood Trail.
Bring along a flashlight and/or headlamp. Wear trail/weather appropriate gear. Bring water to stay Hydrated. This program is free with your day use pass. This program is not accessible as we are hiking on uneven terrain and exposed roots. This program is weather dependent. Please follow us on Facebook for the latest news.
