Under a Thunderstorm watch and heavy rains expected. Program is cancelled.
Ranger will begin with how to build a campfire. There will be tips and tricks to creating your own campfire starters. Campfire safety, Leave No Trace and park rules.
Ranger and volunteers will be making some Dutch oven popcorn over the fire. Bring your own s'mores if you want to cook over the fire. Bring questions you have for the ranger and hear stories of what’s in Huntsville State Park.
