Spring Break Fishing with Fishing’s Future

Join Park Rangers and our partner, Fishing’s Future at the Boathouse for an Angler Education Program on the lake.

Fishing’s Future volunteers will be here with stations set up to teach about the lake’s ecosystem, how to tie a knot, what’s in a tackle box, fish handling and casting practice. After this, staff and volunteers will be on the Boathouse Pier helping anglers catch fish.

This program is outdoors and weather dependent, please follow us on social media for updates. Please bring water and wear sun protection. This program free with your day pass. Gear and bait will be provided for the program, you are welcome to bring your own and get assistance setting it up if needed. This program is accessible.
