Learn about a particular subject or topic from a local expert. This program is open to all ages. 

Erin Cord from Bat Conservation International will speak about the importance of bats, the nocturnal flying mammal. 

"Bats need our help now more than ever- over 50% of U.S. bats are considered at risk. Besides adding diversity and flair to local wildlife, bats are important for insect control and help reduce the use of pesticides. Join Bat Conservation International’s Community Partnerships Manager Erin Cord as she talks about our local bats, the threats they face, and how you can help them in the comfort of your own backyard."
