Fishing and Lady Bugs!

Join a park ranger or volunteer to learn how to cast a line or learn about the lifecycle of ladybugs!

Meet park volunteers and/or a Park Ranger at the North Fishing Pier and learn to cast a line and see if you can catch a real fish! Everything is provided. Fun for the whole family.

Also at the same location, we will have an activity to learn about the lifecycle of ladybugs, and even make your own to take home!

Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass. On busy weekends, reserve your day use pass early online! Please note: You do NOT need to register or make a reservation for this event, just be sure you have a day pass purchased for everyone attending.
