Explore Bowhunting!

Participate in different activities to explore the sport of hunting!

This event is hosted by the TPWD Archery team. 

Stations will include; 
1. Archery practice led by TPWD Archery Specialists and NASP certified Park Staff and Volunteers. A signed waiver will be required for all participants. 

2. Field game dressing demonstrations. 

3. Camouflage hide-and-seek

4. Tree-stand demonstration. 

There will also be learning tables presented by TPWD Biologists, the Texas Youth Hunting Association, and more! 

Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass. On busy weekends, reserve your day use pass early online! Please note: You do NOT need to register or make a reservation for this event, just be sure you have a day pass purchased for everyone attending.
