Veteran Suicide Awareness Ruck Hike

Join us on an easy ruck or hike as we partner with Burnet VFW Post 6974 to raise awareness for a good cause.

The local Burnet VFW Post 6974 and Inks Lake State Park are partnering for our first-ever Veteran Suicide Awareness Ruck March/Hike! 

This will be a non-competitive (FUN) hike on a fairly easy trail with varying lengths possible for participants. 

When: Sunday, September 29th, 10am
Where: Meet at Park HQ

Important notes:

• ADA accommodations are available.
• Lunch will be provided by the VFW following the hike, and there will also be free kayak rentals for participants.
• Entrance fees will be waived for participants. 
• Suggested donations of a kid toy or gift will be accepted.
• Please note: You do NOT need to register or make a reservation for this event.
