Decorate Your Campsite, and Help us Celebrate the Timeless Traditions of Camping
Celebrate the Timeless Traditions of the outdoors by decorating your campsite with a historical theme!
Any participating campsites will be automatically entered into the contest. The top 3 campsites will receive a TPWD gift card.
Any interpretation of historical campsites are allowed, however some rules and guidelines do apply:
- Campsite decorating can begin as early as check in
- Decorations must be family friendly
- No amplified noise devices
- Exterior lighting i.e. Christmas style lights are allowed
- Decorations must be confined to the boundary of your campsite
- Cabins - no nails or "permanently" affixing decorations to the cabin is allowed
Judging will begin at 7:30pm on October 18th. Prizes will then be awarded, and winners will be announced via social media.
