Veteran Suicide Awareness Ruck Hike

Join us on an easy ruck or hike as we partner with Burnet VFW Post 6974 to raise awareness for a good cause.

The local Burnet VFW Post 6974 and Inks Lake State Park are partnering for our second annual Veteran Suicide Awareness Ruck March/Hike! 

This will be a non-competitive (FUN) hike on a fairly easy trail with varying lengths possible for participants. 

When: Saturday, September 27th, 9am
Where: Meet at the Devil's Waterhole Trailhead

Those that qualify can also receive a Texas State Parks Veteran or Active-Duty Pass at the park headquarters.  Texas Parklands Passports — Texas Parks & Wildlife Department

Important notes:

• ADA accommodations are available.
• An EcoRover Tracked Wheelchair will be available for use
• Lunch will be provided by the VFW following the hike, and there will also be free kayak and fishing equipment rentals for participants.
• Please note: You do NOT need to register or make a reservation for this event.
