Eclipse Q&A, Solar Viewing, Astronomy Crafts!

Learn about the upcoming Total Eclipse, look at the sun, and make some crafts before the Star Party.

Before the Austin Astronomical Start Party we will have a special guest from the Hill Country Alliance joining us to answer your questions about the upcoming April 2024 Total Solar Eclipse! You'll also have the opportunity to look at the sun through a telescope with a special filter and make your own starry-themed arts and crafts to take home. 

Meet at Central Park (by Restroom 4 and across the parking lot from the Park Store). 

Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass. On busy weekends, reserve your day- use pass early online! Please note: You do NOT need to register or make a reservation for this event, just be sure you have a day pass purchased for everyone attending.
