Join us to learn how to geocache and search for hidden treasure!
Curious about Geocaching but unsure where to start? Join Ranger Avery and Ranger George on a hike down Nopales Ridge to learn the history of Geocaching, and hunt for caches on the trail. This hike will be approximately 3 miles long, with multiple stops along the way to look for the hidden caches. All ages welcome!
- What to bring: Plenty of water, sense of curiosity, something to place in the caches (it could be something small, of little value, or just your signature on the logs!) Optionally, bring a smartphone with the “Geocaching” app installed.
- Where to meet: Nopales Ridge Trailhead
- This program is free with park entrance. This program is weather dependent.
