Have you ever wondered how many plants that call South Texas home are edible?
Talk a short walk and learn about which plants benefit both us humans and wildlife while also learning how to identify them.
Note: It is illegal to collect plants from any National Wildlife Refuge, State Park or Protected Area. This walk is for demonstration purposes only.
Meet: Old Museum
Bring: Clothes for the outdoors, water, sunscreen, bug spray
Park programs are open to the public and free with park entrance ($4 per person ages 13 and up; children 12 and under are free).
