Mid-Week Bird Walk

Camping mid-week and wishing for programming? Look no further than the Tuesday evening bird walk! Great for winter Texans and families alike.

What to Expect: Set out on a walk tailored to your group (could be thirty minutes, could be two hours!) to identify birds using calls and binoculars on the way.

When: 4pm 
Where: Start at Castle Parking Lot

What to Bring: Water, Binoculars (optional, we have some small ones), Cameras (optional)

This event is:

• Free with normal park entry fees
• Dog friendly
• Family/Kids friendly

Accessibility: 

The guided trail is mostly flat and winding. It is not paved until the group veers off towards the road.

The trail to the bird viewing area at the beginning is paved with Caliche.
