First Day Hike! A Journey Through Time

Take a walk with your family through historical photos, placed where they were taken. Learn about the park's history!

What to Expect: An hour walk through the day-use portion of Whitetail Run, exploring historical photos and listening to a ranger tell the story of the park.

The park will keep the photos up all day for a self-guided option as people come through.

When: 10am - End of Day
Where: Begin at Cave Swallow Parking (by the boat ramp!)
What to Bring: Weather appropriate clothes, closed-toe shoes

This event is:

• Free with normal park entry fees
• Dog friendly
• Family/Kids friendly

Accessibility: The photos follow a dry shoreline. The ground is uneven and rocky in most places.
