Kayaking 101 (Reservations Required)

Learn how to paddle at Lake Corpus Christi State Park!

Join rangers in this beginner-friendly program to learn about the basics of kayaking and kayaking safety, and then get a chance to try your skills out on the lake! 

Bring: Clothing that can get wet, a change of clothes, sun protection, water, and a snack. All other equipment will be provided by the park, including kayaks, personal floatation devices, and paddles.

Cost: Free with park admission. Park admission is $5 for everyone 13 years and older, free for 12 and under.

Note:

• Each child 12 or younger is required to be in a kayak with an adult.
• All ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
• This program is weather-dependent, and programs are subject to changes or cancellations. Call the park for the most up-to-date information.
• Program signup closes at 5:00 pm the evening before the program.
