Wonders of the Night

Explore the park after dark!

Join a ranger for a night hike on Longhorn Trail to hear (and maybe even see) some of the cool creatures that come out at night!

Meet: At the Longhorn Trailhead by the CCC Pavilion.

Difficulty: Longhorn Trail is rated as easy and we will be going out for 0.5 mile and back, for a total of 1 mile. If you would like to reserve the GRIT Freedom Chair for this program, please email us.

Bring: Close-toed shoes, insect repellent, and water. Flashlights are not required for this program.

Cost: Free with park admission. Park admission is $5 for everyone 13 years and older, and free for 12 and under.

Note:

• Due to limited day-use numbers, it is recommended that you reserve your day-use entry for this program.
• All ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
• If no participants arrive by 15 minutes after the program's start time, the program will be considered canceled.
