First Day Hike – Midnight Hike

Welcome in the New Year and make a lifetime memory, outdoors! At Lake Mineral Wells State Park.

Join us as we bring in the New Year outdoors on a guided hike (approx. 1 1/2 miles), along the Lake Mineral Wells State Park Cross Timbers Trail.

We will explore the creature sounds of the night and the Texas winter night sky.

We recommend that you bring a flashlight, bundle up for the weather, wear sturdy shoes and bring water for the hike.

Meet at the Cross Timbers Trailhead near the Cross Timbers Camping Area in Lake Mineral Wells State Park, 100 Park Road 71, Mineral Wells, TX, 76067.

Hikes are free with paid park entrance fee or a State Park Pass.
