Texas Pollinator BioBlitz (Self-Guided)

Program Expectations: This is a SELF GUIDED event. Use iNaturalist to upload your observations of pollinators, plants, fungi, animals, or other signs of life seen. Please use the "For more information about this event..." link below for all the details on how to join the iNaturalist project and more info on how to participate.
When: October 10th - 26th
Daily park hours are 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. unless staying in a reserved campsite. Please use the self-pay station (cash only) to fill out a daily entrance pass if you are arriving before or after office hours.
Daily office hours are 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Where: Lake Mineral Wells State Park
What to bring:
- Smartphone (w/ iNaturalist app pre-installed and account set up)
- Water
- Bug Spray
- Sunscreen/Sun Protection (Hat, sunglasses, long sleeves, etc.)
Program is included in park entry fees- $7 per person ages 13 and older, 12 and under are free. No need to register, just show up! Programs are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather.
