Backyard Bass

Join us for a fantastic outdoor experience at Lake Somerville State Park with our Backyard Bass program!

Picture yourself casting for plastic fish targets that are as thrilling as the real deal.

These targets are specially designed to make casting practice enjoyable and accessible. With our casting plugs, you can reel these fish targets with a perfect cast.

Meet:  at parking pavilion #2 in the Cedar Elm Day - Use Area, Birch Creek Unit.

Bring: Sun protection, water, and mosquito repellent. 

Cost: Free with park entry ($5 for each person 13 or older, free for anyone 12 or younger).

This program is weather-dependent, and programs are subject to changes or cancellations. Call the park for the most up-to-date information.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of age. We value family time, so children must be accompanied by an adult.

If no participants arrive by 15 minutes of the start time, the program will be considered canceled.
