100-Year Celebration Dutch Oven Cook-Off

🎉 Celebrate 100 years of Texas State Parks with us and put your campfire culinary skills to the test!
Campers will compete in this event to see who can create the best Dutch oven dish!
Prizes will be awarded to five winners selected by a panel and one winner by vote.
Categories selected by panel will include:
- most creative
- main course
- vegetarian dish
- side dish
- dessert
The Fan Favorite award will be decided by vote - so come ready to eat!
Campers and Visitors participating in the cook-off will check-in at the office from 8:15 am – 9:00am.
All dishes will be presented at the amphitheater promptly at 12pm for judging. Judges will sample dishes first, then all visitors will have a chance to sample dishes and cast their vote for “Fan Favorite”! Votes will be tallied at 2pm with prizes presented shortly after.
All cooking must be done on site. Participants are responsible for providing all food and supplies needed for preparation and event.
