Junior Ranger Course

Earn your Junior Ranger badge with the assistance of a park ranger!

Does your child love to discover, explore, wonder at, and appreciate State Parks and natural places? Then they have what it takes to become a Junior Ranger!

We’ll provide your kids with all they need to complete our Junior Ranger Activity Journal which will earn them their Junior Ranger Badge Level 1,2, or 3 and get them officially sworn in as a Junior Ranger with Texas State Parks!

This program is open to all but is recommended for children ages 6-12.

When: July 4th 11am-1pm

Meet: By the Swim Beach

Bring: Sunscreen, insect repellant, water.

Cost: Free with park admission ($5.00 per person 13 and over)
