Learn all the basics of angling (fishing), practice casting with the backyard bass game, and fish in the Pair-O-Tree Pond or Lake Tawakoni. A fishing license is not required. Instructions and all equipment are provided.
We will cover all the basics of angling (fishing) and participants will have the opportunity to practice casting using the backyard bass game. Participants will also have time to try their luck at fishing after the instruction. All fishing gear will be provided. However, poles are limited, so feel free to bring your own if you have one.
- Meet: At the Pair-O-Trees Pond.
- Bring: Water, sunscreen, and a chair. (poles are limited, so feel free to bring your own if you have one)
- Cost: This program is FREE with park entry ($5 per person aged 13 and older)
