Feathered Friends: Virtual Bird Hike

Join us for a self-guided hike on the Two Bridges Trail. How does a virtual bird hike work? As you walk the trail, you will find bird pictures with a QR Code for you to scan. The scan will then bring up a short informational video about the bird.

This is an easy 1-mile nature trail that you may see a variety of our park birds along the way and will also find our postings to learn more about our birds of Central Texas.

Plan 30-to-40-minutes to walk anytime you like. We ask that you jot your family name and number of adults and kids taking this walk on our registration form at the start of the trail. 

Have your phone ready to scan the QR Code that will launch the birds' informational videos for you.

Just ask at the office and we will show you how to use this easy phone function.

You may also want to bring some water and wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes.

This event is free with your paid park entry permit.  You may purchase online or at the office once it opens at 8:30 am.
